Over Thanksgiving/Christmas when life events forced me to liquidate over 90% of my guns and reloading stuff, I had to narrow down my choices from 15 presses.Tears of joy ... Right after the "empty feeling" of wiping out a big chunk from bank account.Dillion is the ONLY equipment to buy and use, Has anyone really cried when they bought one??
When I sold the 650 with case feeder, I thought about replacing with 750 but since I am quite happy with ABLP with case feeder, I may actually consider testing out the new post 2020 Pro 1000 with flat base.dillion 750 ... ?! lol
I’ll get a 750 eventuallyOver Thanksgiving/Christmas when life events forced me to liquidate over 90% of my guns and reloading stuff, I had to narrow down my choices from 15 presses.
What I ended up keeping were Dillon 550C and Lee Auto Breech Lock Pro/Pro 4000. 550 was the press I learned to reload on (along with Pro 1000) by my match shooting/reloading mentor and I enjoyed the simplistic process of manual index that brought back many fond memories of my younger years.
With that said, ABLP/Pro4000 is hands down my favorite press.
- For high volume pistol/short rifle cartridge reloading, no press has easier and faster caliber changeover.
- Going from small to large primer takes literally seconds.
- Compared to primer tube filling on Dillon, it's "dump and go" for ABLP that will feed down to last primer.
- Having offset ram mounted under resizing/depriming station allows more consistent finished OAL regardless whether using unsized brass or not.
- Spent primer down into a tube/bottle for collection is the only way to go.
- Standard ergo handle has good leverage and easier on the hand/arm.
- Shell plate with index holes ensure precise index timing and easy resetting of shell plate.
- Universal case feeder/collator increases production rate.

Sorry the FX-10 isn't overpriced enough to be Blue. For that price, it better be BLUE
I don’t like being the 1st to try a new product. The 1100 is tested and proven, that’s worth an extra 30%!Sorry the FX-10 isn't overpriced enough to be Blue.
Assuming consistent build quality to their recent introductions, I thinking competitive pricing to a similarly equipped 750 or LNL AP while offering more functionality and comparable warranty to a Dillon 1100
View attachment 1018487The second from the right. Oh, wait the one on the far right. Maybe the one on the left.
I had two strokes and fell and broke my back. you will notice when I make a post it is quick and to the point. Setting for more than a few min at the computer and my back starts to spasm. I have felt better the last two weeks so I am giving it a try to set a little
longer.
My first look, me likey.........[smile] Best/joeFor that price, it better be BLUE

Well, the biggest change is I don't travel to Ca and Tn. anymore. So I don't do my bets on precision rounds and speed of presses anymore. Oh by the way I never lost a bet. That really sucks. Hope you are able to recovery. I guess not much shooting or reloading getting done.
My 36 year old very healthy son had a stroke this last May 3 weeks after getting the moderna shot.
