I own an NAA mini revolver and a number of handguns chambered for the .25 ACP cartridge. For me, I would take the NAA revolver every time including if I was limited to a 30 grain bullet.
I see weapons like this as being a last ditch weapon or a weapon when you put yourself in a situation where you can't carry anything else; extreme deep concealment. And it's usefulness comes down to that old saying that it is better to have a gun than an empty hand. I certainly would rather have a gun that I couldn't hit a tennis ball at 5 yards than an icepick.

You want something light and fast...typically 30 to 33 grains. In English they'll be marked something like "hyper velocity" or something. The bigger 40grain and up slugs don't perform well out of 2" and shorter barrels.
