Sorry for the delay in getting back to you--been away from the Net.
Of course, YMMV regarding the folding grips. I tend to wear more form-fitting jeans casually. With sufficiently baggy pants, I guess they'd work fine (of course, with sufficiently baggy pants, even a full-sized snubby or mini-Glock is possible!).
For rear-pocket carry of the NAA, I prefer the Thab Rybka paddle holster (the one with the snap closure for 5 extra rounds for a speed-reload--LOL). It breaks up the lines just as much, lies flatter overall, maintains proper orientation in the pocket, and is much more accessible. For front pocket carry, I prefer the little suede holster that comes with the mini. I've even heard of folks prying off the metal belt-clip to reduce its size even more (haven't gone that far yet).
Given the folding grip version, I think I may be just as inclined to carry a Beretta Jetfire or a KT P32. I think they'd carry about as well, and would be much more accessible for a first shot. The bulk is roughly comparable to a bar of bath soap.
The more I think about it, I think I'm placing the capability of the first shot in higher priority than the relative bulk of the folding grips. It really is a two-handed operation to get the gun in proper firing position once you've gotten it out of the pocket. I imagine some people might be able to flick it open balisong-style and get it properly aimed--but that's finer motor skills than I'd want to depend on in a crisis!
Just some thoughts and personal experiences... As a previous writer mentioned, you might want to buy multiple grips and experiment.
Good luck,
JFrame
