So, there is a new movie coming out that I'm pretty excited about, I am Legend. I got to looking around about it and came across a picture. I got curious what the sidearm is in this pic. I think it doesn't look like a Glock but what other larger sidearms are green polymer?

What do you think this side arm is?

I think that's an HK USP Custom Combat (think that's the name). It's in tan polymer. Only reason I doubt it is because the grips should have some black on them. Might be a Mark-23 in tan.

That link is like the red pill in the Matrix, I wish I hadn't clicked it now I'm waiting to see this movie that starts in DECEMBER!:cuss:

Neeeevullll...

I always liked the Omega Man, I wonder who will play Matthias in this remake?

ETA: Ha! Guntech and I x-posted...

COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (remake)

WOW......

A remake of an oldie....."I Am Legend" originally starred Charlton Heston, and was made in the late 60's early 70's/

It is based on the book "Omega Man"(good read)

Was just thinking the other day, I haven't seen it on TV for a L-O-N-G time..

EDIT:Several of us cross posted LOL

Saw the trailer for it when my wife and I went to see Transformers. I'm looking forward to it.

Will Smith is one of my favorite actors, and he takes things seriously. I'm impressed to see him practicing trigger discipline, but not surprised.

"The last man on Earth always carries BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM an automatic weapon."

It's an awesome movie, but I have to say: Charlton Heston had a CAR to run around in.

Actially, isn't it based on the Richard Matheson book I am Legend?

If you haven't read his book The beardless Warriors I would recomend it. It's a fairly quick novel based in WWII about a new arrival that heads straight to the front. Matheson served in the same division as my grandfather in WWII, the 87th Infantry Division.

Good book.
"Omega Man" was 1970's fun. (Name another decade where a crushed velvet jacket with a cravat is considered appropriate undead-hunting attire.)

But I'm looking forward to this one.

Pumped for this one...

Love Will Smith. He actually practiced trigger discipline in some scenes of the bad boy movies (and in other scenes completely disregarded it). I'm always impressed when he asks for another MAG (instead of clip) for his EBR in Bad Boys 2.

EOTWAWKI and zombie vampires? Im there!

I noticed that too! But since it is a movie its possible that it isn't even a real gun at all. But I know a guy who Duracoated his Glock .45ACP that same ish color. The Duracoat looks like actual plastic, not just painted over plastic.

I distinctly remember that whenever he was out in the city, he wore some kind of khaki safari-type clothing and had a pistol belt on with a pistol and an extra mag for his S&W SMG and a flashlight. He wore the jacket to dinner on Sundays.

So does Will Smith. He was driving a Shelby Mustang in the trailer.

Right, right. I forgot about that, since I just focused on him walking around with a single handgun in most of the trailer.

...and that's when the zombie hoardes interrupted Chuck's dinner, and he, rightfully so, lit them up with a BAR mounted with an infra-red scope.

Any zombie hordes interrupting my meal break should expect no less!!!:)
