My CZ 75B. My grandmother bought this for me. I will treasure it always.

My Prize

Mine is a 1914 production Colt 1911. My wife purchased it off a lady who had it in a collection of WW 1 artifacts. She paid the outragous price of $300.00 for it. Now I would not hesitate in loading it with hardball and carrying it BUT I would rather have my Kimber TLE 2 in my holster

Favorite Handgun

A Colt series 70 Satin Nickel Commander .45 ACP given to me by my mom many years ago before she passed away from spinal cancer, an absolute jewel to look at and hold.
I do not know what it is worth on the firearms market but to me it is priceless;)

Remington Rand 1911

I know it's goofy but I have the Remington Rand that my dad carried in the Pacific throughout WW2. He was a machinist and so he "tinkered" with it while he was overseas and also had the spare parts he hand fitted to it. Such a sweet shooting gun. Accurate (for a 1911 government), family history, it's my number 1. I love my Sigs. But that Remington has me tied in knots.

I'm actually getting ready to put it under glass so no one in the family destroys it.

It's no where near the other weapons in this thread, but it's my newest, and my favorite. A simple Colt M1991A1.

M1991A1's are fine.....

Hey!! Many of these guns wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the Colt M1911A1 and the S&W M10..

"We" have a M1991A1 but I can't say it's a favorite of mine - because my wife claims it!! ;)

:D

I wish I had a handgun I consider my most prized. I have four, but none of them have sentimental value, none are particularly valuable either.

You all can crack on me I guess, but forced to pick I would say the Hi-Point .40S&W as it was my first autoloader.

I wish an older relative had given me a gun so I had a better answer in this post.

I know you said hand gun, but....I have to tell you this story. So many of us have guns that have been passed from our fathers or grandfathers. It took me 45 years to get a 30 Cal Carbine back that my father brought back from WW2. He gave it to his cousin when I was just a baby. I offered for years to purchase any gun no matter the price if I could have it back. Dad tried before he died to also get it back with an offer to replace it with any gun at any cost. When my father died I thought I would never see it again. About 4 years after my father died the cousin brought it to my mother's house on Christmas day. He did not want any replacement or payment. It is my most treasured gun.

Now to answer your question about a hand gun......Model 19 S & W.

All 15 of them starting with an inherited Colt 22 Police Postive Target to
an older TC with three hex barrels. Don't know unfired Colt Python,
DCM 1911 A1, or Smith Mod 28. Rugers are fun too! Way too many
choices, so will keep them all !!!

HK Perfection

HK USP Tactical .45-------I had no idea a polymer framed pistol could be that accurate.
OK I have to tell a story,
When I first got the HK I was with a couple buddys shooting pop cans off of fence posts at about 15 yards or so. After obliterating a few one of my freinds said "here you go smart A$@" and ran down the fence 40-45 yards with a dirt filled pepsi can. One shot later and it was dust and shrapnel.
I just gotta love a gun that makes me look that good!:)

Ruger Security 6, 4" barrel, blued, 357 magnum. I'll never get rid of it because it was the first gun I purchased, and I know it will always go bang.
