Name these 6 rifle cartridges

Have you been reading my posting history?

Nope...I just got WAY too many guns (if there is such a thing) and 99% of them are rifles.

And the 300 Savage is the VERY BEST round ever invented for hunting on the east side of the Mississippi River IMO.

There are no 7.62x54r rounds in any of those pictures, so it is a trick question! There are no REAL bullets in those pictures!

The 300 H&H mag has a very tapered case and a long neck. Easy to spot.

The 308 Norma and the 300 Win Mag are virtually identical...but he said they were not in current common production...so I'm lost.

You're two for three there. I don't subscribe to shotgun news (but I do occasionally buy one from a newsstand). What prompted that guess?

I'm still lost...I've given it my best shot. I'll keep an eye on it to see where I messed up...it will probably make me look like an a$$ though...something simple...LOL.

Camera angle makes it tough to gage case length, thats why the 6.5 is hard too judge. Swede was my first choice but the down angle makes the case look to short.

Wow - on the first one, I got four of the six right, first guess - scary - maybe I *am* too much of a gun nut. I am faring far worse on the second set though, I think.

I'll give a hint...I got them all right but 1...and asked JesseL in a PM which one I got wrong.

I got the case right....but the caliber was wrong. That may help...

In photo bucket, your album settings are set to "public"....my wife wanted to see the baby pictures, and there was a shot of someone(you?) with a Shotgun News.
