Oddly no Belgium. I probably missed a couple.

I don't have percentages, but here are the countries of origin...
US
United Kingdom
France
Belgium
Germany
Switzerland
Italy
Spain
Yugoslavia
Czechoslovakia
Poland
Hungary
Finland
Sweden
Bulgaria
Romania
Egypt
Russia & USSR
Argentina
Brazil
India
China
South Korea
Japan
Australia

Man, I didnt' think there's so much interest in this. :D

I saw a couple of peculiar nations, what guns are made in Mexico and France?

Hmmm . . .

USA
Belgium
Belgium, assembled in Portugal
Austria
Germany
Japan
Britain
Italy
Red China

Ammo on hand includes US, Mexican, Israeli, Chinese, Russian, South African, Japanese, British, and Australian.

Some individual firearms include parts from more than one nation. And the exact pedigree of some other things (like a "European" stock set) is . . . uncertain.

And I've got my eye on a nice French battle rifle in nearly mint condition . . . never fired, and only dropped once. ;)

Nothing too exciting here. Easier to seperate handguns and rifles.

Rifles
75% USA
25% Yugoslavia

Handguns
83.4% USA
16.6% Austria

What surprised me so far with this thread is the wide range of countrys people have collected firearms from. This tells me I really need to get out of the house more and expand my horizons. :D

Hand Guns
Springfield XD40 Sub-C - Croatia
CZ 75 Compact 9mm - Czech
Beretta mod 71 .22lr - Italy
Hi-Point Compact 9mm - USA
Colt Cobra Revolver .38sp - USA

Rifles
Ruger 10/22(.22lr) - USA
Marlin 336 (30-30) - USA
Mossberg 500 (12g) - USA
Yugo SKS 59/66 - Yugoslavia

what guns are made in Mexico and France?

well, I cheated a bit - counted my Crosman springer pellet gun. Made in Mendoza factory, Meh-hee-co. On France, I'd guess various MAS milsurps.

And I made a mistake. One of mine listed as Russia x4 should actually be
Belarus.

USA
Germany
West Germany
Austria
Switzerland
Russia
Romania
Hungary
Poland
Belgium
Brazil
Australia
England
Japan
Italy

USA made guns in the majority in my collection, accounting for almost 50%. All of the other country catagories are made up of only 1 or 2 guns each.

Edited to add: I celebrate diversity!

25% USA
25% South Africa
25% Argentina
25% Romania

... hopefully to be followed soon by either Australia (not Austria) or another USA.

United State of America
Bulgaria,
Russia,
Brazil,
Spain,
Czechoslovakia (sp?),
India,
Red China.
England

USA: 20.83%
Yugoslavia: 20.83%
Romania: 16.67%
Russia: 12.50%
Czechoslovakia: 8.33%
Hungary: 8.33%
Austria: 4.17%
Germany: 4.17%
Bulgaria: 4.17%

In my personal collection, I only have 2 guns that are actually mine.

USA - 50%
Yugoslavia - 50%

But, if you include my father's guns that we both share... God, I'd never figure that one out, as I don't have a clue where half of 'em came from.

Hmmm. Right now in my very small collection, the USA covers about 1/2 of my guns. Oddly (imo) enough, all of my pistols from the USA are 'tupperware'.

Pistols -
2 X Keltec
1 X Kahr
3 X CZ

Long guns -
1 old Winchester pump 20 guage
1 Yugo M59/66 SKS

Fwiw, my current wish list is 100% US
