New Blue Python - GOT ONE

Glad you got that, MM. I looked at one at my LGS and passed on it. I know, I know. I adore the new Pythons. The blue is a real blue, don’t know what internet ignoramus called it a “coating,” lol. It is not the blue of old, more of a black, and looks like the blue on “classic” Smith and Wessons. Absolutely nothing wrong with it, I just wasn’t able to commit.

Now, why didn’t you buy the Korth too? At that price, did it come with the 9mm cylinder too? I have to say, I love my Mongoose and it shoots my handloads into teeeeeeny tiiiiiiny little groups. That DLC coating is seriously tough; I fumblefingered my cylinder when I had it out for cleaning and sent it skidding across a tile floor - no damage whatsoever!

comes with the 9mm cylinder. Rember 7 years ago when they 1st came out and was around $3800~ish (if I remember correctly)

I like nice guns and that Korth would cost me 4 months of gun allowance.

that grip and putting on wilson rear sight is what allowed me to shoot it better. the DA on mine is still heavy but getting to be less of an issue with dry firing. the orginal grip just doesn't work for me. it took 5 or 6th trip to shoot better with it and implementing the changes. on the plus side any revolver i bring with it feels so much lighter in trigger pull.

I want to find a Black grip like this but for the Blue Colt Python. Anybody know a custom grip maker willing to do this??? Seriously!

I could probably strip the factory finish, and get a Punisher stencil spray it Red!!

Not on my Classic Guns, but on this Modern Python - I don’t see why not. Don’t you think Black on Black (very dark blue) would be pretty cool, then a edge of The Punisher Skull, very light spray paint!

I think it’s going to be AWESOME!
