Haven't posted in a good bit, but here is my first "built to order" rifle. My awesome wife funded everything but the optic for my birthday.
Aero Upper
Aero lower
Geissele SSA
Magpul pistol grip
Magpul stock
Ballistic Advantage 18" 5.56 SPR barrel (rifle length gas)
Midwest 15" free float rail
AAC flash hider
Primary Arms 1-6x24 optic
Aero mount

Plan to do some coyote hunting and 2 gun shooting. Maybe do some long distance shooting for fun as well. Ordered some Black Hills 60gr Vmax to try out in it. Then will load my own for it as well

I'm not sure if I want to do anything to it, but if I do, I'll probably Cerakote it as opposed to rattlecan

Cerakote is more expensive, it will still wear and is more difficult to touch up. Rattlecan paint is not only economical and easy to touch up, It's also easily changed as the season and terrain demands. I've been running rattlecan paint job on four or five ARs for some years. It's the way to go.

I went with a 5.56 chamber with 1:7 twist. Ballistic advantage has a 1 MOA guarantee, so we'll see how that goes.
