I couldn't agree with you more. I love an old gun that has experience, practice and a history. I don't have pics of it, but one of mine is a Jeffrey's Enfield sporter, exactly like the one Val Kilmer used in "The Ghost and The Darkness" and it has four kill notches behind the grip, and one kill shield. I don't know the previous owner or what he took with this rifle, but I just like the whole essence of the gun. And all the other old, used, worn and nicked guns that I have. Anyone can buy a new gun but I love the lifetime of experience that has been worked into the old ones...
