The pouch on my rig works well. It secures the rounds and keeps them protected from the environment. I'm not too terribly concerned about the need for speed reloading. If I need more than six rounds it's time for air or artillery support.
I think my point about the speed strips was missed.
Im not using them for speed....
I carry 30/30 ammo on speed strips too.
And .22s, .45colt, . 357,

I too like the way speed strips keep ammo together. Didn't feel like wearing a cartridge belt so put a couple speed strips in my pocket to go with my Uberti Hombre while deer hunting last year.
Since we're showing off holsters. Bought this affordably rig at the Tulsa gun show a few 6 years ago. Seller had 4 tables of holsters and belts. I should have bought another holster or 2.
