I read on Benos of White River Energetics primers, made in Arkansas, company address in Ohio.
Google found a review on a New Zealand board, also one in Arkansas plugging the home team.

But my credibility is strained when I read that

White River Energetics Manufactures:

Small, Medium, and Large Pistol and Rifle Primers
using the traditional Lead Styphnate process.

What can I use them there Medium primers in?

I've ben looking into this today as well after somebody on another platform brought it up.

Apparently WR small pistol primers are available at Republic Ammunition right now. (not linking, go search and you can find it).

There's a thread on Accurate Shooter forum that dates back to July this year. Folks claiming to have visited on site, gotten some primers to test, etc.

The White River website says they're a OEM supplier to ammunition manufacturers at the moment and some on that AS thread say they plan to ramp up to be able to supply more Direct to Consumer primers.

If it's fake somebody has gone and done a lot of work to make a good charade. They're a newly acquired subsidiary of D&H Holdings apparently, which makes manufacturing processes and tooling for ammunition manufacturers, based out of Tampa, FL according to their website.

Those are exactly what @CQB45ACP needs! 🤣

I stopped taking press releases seriously after I had to write up the technical explanation for one. I’d imagine my five hours work went straight into the circular file.

Well, Frankford Arsenal DID use a "medium" primer in the 1930s, about a .204" size.
They were producing both .45 ACP and .30-06 and took no chance of getting rifle primers in pistol ammo or pistol primers in rifle ammo.
Somehow I doubt WR is making primers for 80 year old brass.

That is no help, I have not heard of Republic Ammunition, either.

Wonder if they would send me some primers C.O.D.

This whole thing smells of a couple past scams including one just across the Arkansas border in Hooks Texas. That one too had primers being tested, facilities being toured, retailers advertising, and even a YouTube shill. But, phhht! No primers ever.

I went to Republic’s website and it looked semi legit in that they accepted credit cards although I didn’t dare give them my info so I gave them yours:)

I found another dealer “selling” White River primers but they couldn’t ship them until late October. Didn’t actually say what year come to think about it.

Given the numbers of smaller ammo makers out there and the numbers of war-era (1, 2, and cold) ammo plants abandoned since the Berlin Wall fell, this really makes sense. It might be a good thing or it might be a string of bad investments. Either way, it’s not going to change anything overnight.
I’m still appalled at all the anti free enterprise and free market talk. It’s not gouging or anything nefarious, it’s selling to meet demand and make a profit. TANSTAAFL.

Terrific. Another Whitewater Scandal. Just what we need. 😆
