Not what you already have, but what you don't have and plan to buy, in order from most urgent (next purchase/acquisition), down to least urgent (but still on top "X" list). Also please list caliber and primary purpose(s), and if not clear by the model, then bbl length of choice (and hell, if you feel like it, your planned optics/base/rings choice, and holster if applicable).

When funds are tight, such a ranking is a must-have in my book. :) For me, it's:

1. RWS Model 350, spring piston airgun, .177 pellet, hunting/pest control, and fun (still on my massive airgun kick for some reason - cheap ammo prolly).
2. Wilson KZ-45 Compact, .45acp, primary daily CCW and 3-gun comps.
3. Springfield XD subcompact, 9x19mm, CCW for covered/tuckable/deep concealment, or while jogging/biking/wet conditions.
4. Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk1 or 2, .303 Brit, for range fun and historical interest.
5. Remington 1100 Competition model, 12 ga 2.5", 22" bbl, primary home defense and 3-gun comps (to replace the Rem 870 I have for home defense, and turn 870 back to its orig config, for tasty things that fly)
6. Daewoo DR200 or K2, .223 Rem, Backup to Bushy M17 for primary all-purpose general defense and varmints.
7. DSA FAL med cont. bbl, 19", metric, .260 Rem, mossy-oak camo-ed, general purpose medium-range defense and all-purpose SHTF game-getter.
8. Kel-Tec SU-16, Secondary Backup to M17 for all-purpose defense, etc.
9. Browning Hi-power or CZ 75B, 9x19mm, for fun range plinking and truck pistol (then my Springfield 6" V16 Longslide can be dedicated home defense pistol, instead of both home defense and truck pistol :) )
10. Taurus Raging Hornet, .22 Hornet, for fun.
11. Springfield M6 Scout, .22lr and .410 bore, backpacking/on-the-run SHTF survival and fun of course. (or get in .22 hornet and ream to K-hornet - damn I go back and forth on that one)
12. SAR-1, 7.62x29, and select-fire components (by that time I should have my class III stuff), for rock and roll, and bugout/SF SHTF rifle.
13. Glock 20, with Mec-Tec upper in 10mm, for fun and medium size, short range game-getter.
14. Barrett M82A1, .50 BMG (my ship should come in by the time I get to this point on the list, so why not). Long range and SHTF anti-materiel defense.
15. Tikka, Rem, or Savage turnbolt in .300 WinMag or .300 Win Short Mag., for big game, etc. Preferably a Savage with the 10FP LE trigger, if possible.
16. More Swiss K31s (man I love that thing) and other milsurps, and still more milsurps. :)

I'm sure there's more, and the list and rankings are ever changing, of course. I also have a specific list of things I want but perceive no *present* need for, and therefore are not on the to-buy list. I may share it in the next thread if this one generates any interest.

Holy cow. You know they make relatively cheap steel home additions for people who are planning on expanding :p

1. Rebarrel my Garand.
2. Remington 870 to replace the one I sold. :banghead:
3. S&W 625 or 610 for boondocking.
4. H&K USP when I move to NH (some day, damn MA laws).

Lol - hey I've pared down and simplified - I used to have some 25 items on the to-buy list. I've eliminated the heretofore .40s and 10mms I wanted, to simplify my life (save the G20 with Mec-Tec Upper). Some have been acquired, some have turned into a ho-hum for me and dropped off, and some have been relegated to the want-but-no-need-for-at-present-list. :) Oh yeah, the rankings on the list have been known to instantly change, moving out of place by more than 5 ranks, when I have money in the pocket, feel impulsive, and run across deals at gun shows or the gun shop. Or magically, milsurps, .22s, full-auto bb guns, and other various and sundry, under $250, possibly-yet-to-be-known models can make their instant debut onto the list, then come off the list once the NICS check comes back. Devonai, when will you learn not to sell guns? ;) Dumbest thing I ever did was trade my S&W model 3000 12 guage with rifled bbl for a Llama 9x19, so I can't talk. :banghead:

Hey, this is why Microsoft Works comes with Windows - use it (the spreadsheet part - great for alpha entries in addition to numbers).

YIKES! :what: I'm not quite that bad. I have a list in my head but really depends on what I come across & at what price.

Bookstore clerk: "Can I help you find anything?"
Me: "Thanks, but I won't know what I'm looking for until I find it." ;)

I literally can't fathom actually having a list, but I guess if I had one it would look like this:
1) More 1911's
2) More S&W revolvers
3) More old milsurp rifles
4) I keep meaning to get around to building an AR

1. 1911-type gun
2. AR-15, probably Bushmaster
3. Over/Under shotgun. Not sure what brand though. I want decent quality, but have no desire to pay thousands of dollars for gold engraving and a fancy name.

Other than that, I'm not in need of much else. Of course, I've yet to meet a gun I didn't like, so when the occasional deal falls at my feet, my needs can change rapidly. :D

I just picked up a Springfield XD9 Subcompact, which was formerly on top of this list.

Who knows? I have plenty of carry guns and rifles/shotguns. I`m not saying I won`t buy more but it depends what I see. I`m collecting Smith revolvers and I just grabbed a Model 58 last week.:D Tough to find and I was deliberately avoiding the dealers. Damn you THR For Sale section!:cuss: :banghead: :D

1. a barrel and some original Sig parts (the Canadians that cloned it didnt do a very good job on the trigger bar and such) for the Sig 228 clone I'm building.
2. Taurus M65 .357magnum, 6 shot, 4" barrel, blue
3. Taurus M94 .22lr, 9 shot, 4" barrel, blue
4. Enough parts to assemble an AR15 top half to add to the spare complete lower sitting in my safe.

Not included in the list are any C&R deals that pop up, or any good deals on rifle parts kits (FAL, AK, etc).

Kharn

S&W M&P somewhere around 1905 4th change 5" barrel
Ruger Blackhawk 45 colt
build an AR

Edited to add a CZ 52 someday, everyone needs at least 1 Commie block auto.

plus too many other dreams that come and go

1. a 24 or 26 in barrel for my Win 1200
2. a Remington 870 Youth 20 gauge for the fiance
3. a Glock 17
4. a Fal of some type
5. lots of .22lr, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 9mm, 12g, and 20g
6. maybe a Springfield or Para 1911 just so I have one

1. Thompson 1927 A1. 16" bbl. Just cuz I like it, and its a hell of a deal (on layaway now, coming home in less than two weeks).

2. Mossberg 500. 18" bbl. Home Defense. (I know it should come before the tommy, but the tommy is a grand, already on layaway, and I can pick up the shotty for $250 the next payday)

3. AR-15. Not sure what brand though, but a want one with a flat-top upper and removable handle. I've got a few pre-ban mags for them collecting dust, rather than sell them to someone else, I'd rather put them to use myself:D

After those, its night sights for some of my pistols, re-finish the Colt and add a 610R ('nuther house gun), surefire fore-end for the Mossberg.

Like when I played chess in HS, I think three moves ahead with guns. When I bring the tommy home I'll pick another.

1. Intermediate sized pistol like the P2000 or USP40C. Gotta see if I like the LEM when a buddy comes to town with his.
2. M4 Super 90 when Benelli comes out with the fixed stock. Why? Because.
3. Blaser R93 *AFTER* taking a 3-day sniping course with ITTS where I'll rent a rifle. Yeah, it'll be an expensive acquisition so this is down the road.

Current list...always changing of course.

1. STI Trojan in .45 or Sig 220ST in .45....not sure which yet
2. Crane SPR replica AR
3. Walther P22 military if they would ever release it
4. Build my Bulgarian 5.45 AK kit into an actual rifle instead of a box of parts
5. Have GA Precision rebarrel and restock my 700P
6. Some milsurps....maybe a No4MkI, K31 or an 03 Springfield...or maybe all of them :p
7. Some type of custom .308 AK project

1. Blaser LSR-1, already on "lay-away" from a friend of mine
2. lightweight snubbie, probably a 642
3. The Quigley rifle, at least a replica of it ;)
4. M1A pre-ban
5. SxS coach gun
6. S&W 625
7. M1 carbine, some enfields, a Finn M39, and a few more MNs, as money permits

1) EAA Biathlon Basic, because I don't currently have a 22 rifle.
2) CZ85 Combat, because I don't have a 9MM and I could use it for CCW in the future.
3) CZ-97B, because I don't have a .45 yet and the ergos are perfect for me.
4) .50 BMG rifle, because I love big guns. Leaning tward the AR-50 right now but I really want a Barret Mod 82A1 but for an extra $5000 it's just not worth it. Had I gotten a credit card 3 weeks before I did I would have picked up one when I was 21 for $3000. That would have been such a good purchase!
5) .223 of some kind. Most likely a tack-driver for varmit shooting. Could be anything from a bolt action heavy barrel to a Bushmaster Varmiter, but a friend already has one so I might have to do something differant ;) Maybe a heavy barrel Ruger #1 or Browning Low Wall.
6) Custom 10/22, accurate, cheap to shoot, and you can shoot fast.
7) Lever action of some sort.
8) Single action revolver of some sort. Most likely a Super Blackhawk.
9) Low barrel revolver. I haven't found any but the Mataba but I don't want the bulk and weight added by the "automatic" feature.
10) Raging Hornet
11) Raging Bull in .454
12) The EAA 22 target pistol, IZH-35 I think?
13) SMG of some sort. Just because I like SMGs. I'd love a P90, MP5-10, UMP, or I'd even be happy with the Beretta CX4 Storm carbine.
14) AR-10T, should be as fun as my FAL and more accurate.
15) Combat shotgun
16) Nice trap gun in 20 guage
17) Nice trap gun in 12 guage
18) Browning M2HB, semi-auto would be fine.
19) GE Mini, because it's a massive waste of money ;)

DOH!

I forgot, I also HAVE to have an IZH-35 .22 pistol.....sweeeeet. Now where does it go on the list? ....

Tamara and others with NO list, god forbid, and those with [Ahhnold voice on] puny little girly-man lists of 4 or 5 [Ahhnold voice off] :) , you've been exposed as non-certifiable gun nuts. For shame, for shame... If you want the certificate, worthing of framing, get busy folks! :D

Well, whenever the BATFE decides to finally send me my C&R FFL, the list will change slightly.

1. Makarov
2. Browning Hi-power
3. Garand
4. 1911
5. CZ52
6. Enfield #4 Mk1
7. K98

I don't know what order I'll be buying these in, or if I'll ever finish up buying them, but here's my short list:

1. A pair of Sig 226's in 9mm
2. A pair of M4 type AR-15 (most likely RRA's)
3. DSA FAL Carbine
4. Mossy 590
5. Springfield 1911 Loaded
6. P7M8
7. USP Compact 9mm
8. Sig 220
9. Remington 700 Police .308 Heavy Barrel
10.Glock 21
11. S&W 66
12. S&W 627
13. Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter
14. Marlin 357 Mag Lever gun
14. Marlin 44 Mag lever gun
15. Atleast 2 Bushy A2 AR-15
16. CETME (just to try one)
17. A Couple more SAR-1's (one just aint enough)
18. Walther P22
19. Walther P99
20. CZ 75B
21. Another 10/22
22. Mossy 500 20ga 'Trophy' (nephew's need something to hunt with)
23. M1 Garand
24. Ruger Red Label
25. S&W 629 4" Mountain Gun
26. NEF .223 Heavy barrel

Maybe some other's that look good at the time :D

My list is pretty short right now.

1. A big pile of magazines for my Ted Yost custom Delta Elite (I've only got 2 right now  ).
2. Browning GP-35 9x19mm. This would get a trigger job and better sights, but not much else.
3. Colt Python .357 Magnum (blued, 4" or 6", can't decide which).

1. Any Lever Action in rifle or handgun caliber, prefer one of each, but I want just one at least now.
2. Taurus PT92 SS 9mm
3. Some sort of .22LR auto loader handgun
4a. SAR-1
4. CZ 75 B 9mm
5. A Mauser 8mm
6. Springfield XD two tone full size, in 9mm or 40.
7. Dan Wesson 1911 .45
8. A Cetme
9. A FAL
10. A pump action shotgun (so inexpensive, keeps on getting pushed)
11. My own Walther P99 (my wife's is not mine sadly)
12. Glock 26
13. Thompson 1927 A-1
14. Parts for my AR lower receiver unstarted
15. A 45 Colt revolver

Whenever I can: A Mexican Obregon pistol

Considering a Para-Ord jumped ahead of the whole list when it was on sale, I kinda sway with whatever deals I can find. But I still want a dang lever action, and I want to pull some Chow Yun Fun action with the PT92!
:D
