Just a little clarification before I submit paperwork and have the lowers engraved.... Are there any limits on what you can name a trust?

I have it stuck in my head that I want to name it "In God We" or "In God We Trust" so that the engraving can say:

In God We Trust
Mytown, ST

Any thoughts or ideas?

I'd also like to have one or more additional primary trustees. (to allow shared possesion of NFA items held by the trust) Is it as simple as exporting a basic Revocable Living Trust from WillMaker 2007 and adding the names in?

If you set up a trust for NFA stuff, just name it after yourself. Since it is your RLT, you are the grantor and sole trustee. I'm sure you can set up multiple trustees if you do your trust through a lawyer, but I did mine through quicken, and there was no such provision in it. The thing about exporting the file to add additional names is to remember what is legal in your state. Since I really wasn't sure, I just left the will in quicken to make sure I didn't do anything wrong. Also, if your trust is solely for NFA stuff, make it as simple as possible, only to be used for the acquisition of NFA Fireams. If you want to set up a trust for your kids or whatever, make a separate one. Check out AR15.com in the General Class3 section for some great info on setting up your trust.

Willmaker allows you to set up a trust where you are the grantor and trustee. It also allows you to set up a trust where both you and your spouse are grantors and trustees. If neither of those work for you, you need the services of an attorney.
