cvs?

will ,California aint all bad,if you can get shootables at a drug store,777 the way to go,but do not compress it to much or you'll bend your cylinder pin as i did, naa sent me a new one, which seems smaller, but if your worried about cougars get yourself a howda pistol and pray you see him coming:eek:

lol, i don't think anything would survive a howdah pistol besides an elephant or something, those things are serious! it is like an ATF-proof double barreled sawn-off shotgun. although i would prefer a Colt Python or another 357 i would not want to have to go through the paperwork and leave behind a paper trail, and because i am under 21 my folks would have to keep possession of it until i can legally take possession of it when i am 21. however this gun is small and cute and fits right in my pocket, however it bears no licensing to my name, however it is completely legal if i remember correctly since i have parental consent and when i am 18 i will be able to legally own it.

i know this thread is a little old, but how is the accuracy on the .22 LR version? knowing me i will most likely get the magnum, but i am curious as to shat kind of accuracy one can achieve with that barrel length. i wish they made the .22 LR in a longer barrel, that would be awesome!

There's an advanced search feature near the top of each page under private messages. Click on advanced search and enter the word that you want to search.
There's hundreds of threads on the "NAA .22" in the THR database. Or else you won't know when someone will read your post and reply.

Here's 2 search results below. If one thread doesn't provide enough info., then keep reading more search results. The search results will highlight the search words in bold red type so they're pretty easy to spot. Sort through the titles of each search result for the most relevant threads.
Since this is the black powder forum most NAA .22lr threads will be found in the pistol section. :)

in a gun the size of the BP NAA revolvers, I would imagine mechanical accuracy of these weapons is a non issue compared to the amount of practice it takes to employ a gun of this size accurately

not to resurrect a dead thread but load it with smokeless powder as much as you can. the ss body can handle it and you'll get way more power behind your rounds. I CCW my bp super companion some days. they are more reliable than rimfire imho.

No offense, but I'd be leery to pop at a big housecat with a .22 Derringer. Why not get one of the .38 Special Derringers?
You can ger Snake and solid loads for em.
You can even get BP CAS loads!
ZVP

They make snake loads as well for the .22 NAA. In this particular instance we are talking about the black powder version. I prefer to carry the BP version to my .38 for a number of reasons, mostly conceal-ability and comfort.
