Be there at least by 6PM sharp if you don't want to wait much. Usually, there's a waiting list after 6PM.

Sadly, I was unaware of a law saying you may only purchase one handgun every thirty days, so my Glock 20 will have to wait till Sept 15

Yup, that's why you need to apply for your CHP as soon as possible ... too many guns out there not to have one. :D

I was there. I met Dave, and Luke, and Mike, and some others who's names I cannot recall. Sorry. But I was there with my pink shirt and HK P2000 :D

Dave brought his hand cannon. Seriously, that thing was freaking loud. And the concussive blast was amazing. :what: I felt that thing in my chest and I was standing 6 feet behind him. The muzzle flash was immense as well :what:

Good time was had by all. Sorry I couldn't eat with ya'll later. But, well, honestly, I'm not sorry. Stacy and Kelly were so worth it :neener:

EVERY day, 5 times a day I search using the "new posts" feature, and every day for the last 8 months this thread has been in the top 20 newly posted to threads.

You guys are amazing!

As if having VCDL wasn't enough! I seriously need to move 30 minutes south of here. :(

We actually had some MD'ers from THR (Chris Rhines and friends) join us for Magnum Night at the NRA ... great bunch of guys. I really hope you guys can turn things around up there.
 
We're working on it. We've made a few small steps forward, and held off a few steps backwards.

I've met Chris - he's a great guy. I think I met him in Annapolis actually, at the legislative hearings....

Anyway, I hope to make it to a few of the NoVa shoots....I've been to a few in PA that were outstanding.

It just amazes me that there's almost 1100 posts to this thread!

There's almost 1100 posts here because in Virginia, we shoot more ! :neener: At least once / week, every week.

You will too when you join us. Trust me, I too know the $$$ pain that a move to NoVA brings, but you'll be better off for it in about 1 year's time.

Kony, if Slate is getting 'wood all the time'... :uhoh: I'm thinkin' Stacy & Kelly are a better choice for him than anywhere near us :neener:

Hmmm ... its going to be tough choosing between "Got Wood?" and "Bad M*****F***er". :evil:

and maybe we can get Dave to shoot at something other
than cardboard with big holes in it :neener:

No way. Why would I want something so weak?? :neener: But . . . apparantly my stepbrother's first father had some guns. Right now there at my parents house in Charlottesville. Might bring them up and let you guys look at them and shoot them. See if they're worth anything. 44 mag and a 38 that looks like a Saturday Night Special. Which probably means its real good :rolleyes:

Might be able to get them up here in a couple weeks. Technically, they're my step mom's and she isn't aware that I shoot. And the guns have a bit of sentimental value cus her husband was killed in the line of duty (Coast Guard)
 
Heh. I had to go out of town this weekend (family get together planned months ago). I filled up when I got to my destination, it cost me $50.

Gas is only 3.19 in SW Va. :rolleyes:
