In the past I have never voted for the NRA Board of Directors. I was too lazy to do the necessary research and there didn't seem to be much controversy involved. Apparently most members feel like I have and only 6-7% vote in most elections.
Over the last couple of years I have become less comfortable with the current management and want to see some new faces on the BOD who will have a different perspective.
Votes are due 29 March. If you are eligible you should have received a ballot in the February Rifleman. You don't need to vote for more than one person, and if you do vote for only a couple, your vote is more focused.

Here are three web sites which list candidates they feel would improve the current board.

Based on their recommendations I am going to focus my vote by just selecting Frank Tait. Whether or not you agree with that choice I would strongly recommend that you vote this year and encourage all of your friends to vote as well.
Feel free to pass this on. If you have other information or suggestions, please post it here.
