i have a beretta nano, i need a iwb and a owb holster. i have only one requirement and that is my muzzle stay in the holster and not stick out. i can't stand for my barrel end to be sicking out of the holster. so what would be my choices for 1 of each kind?, or a holster that does both? my price limit for each holster is about $50.00 give or take a few bucks. i have looked online but the i can't seem to make my mind up, fellow nano owners what do you use? thanks for any help

OWB the DeSanti Mini Scabbard looks like it might meet you criterion. It is open ended, but looks like it covers down slightly past the muzzle in the online photos.

I don't have experience with this holster, just bringing it up because I happened to see one on Amazon.com the other day and it looks like a good possible option for OWB for a small pistol.

I carry my Nano in a Garrett Industries IWB. It's a great holster! I've got seven or eight of 'em, one for ever gun I ever CCW. The shell is kydex so the body doesn't collapse when you draw but the inside is lined with leather so it's quite (hence the "Silent Thunder" name). It's very very comfortable, rock-solid-stable and the muzzle is enclosed. There are tons of different clips and loops to suit any situation you could imagine. There are C-clips, Kydex loops, several different clips, tuckable leather loops, etc. For me the regular and HD clips work very well. You can see the curved shape of them in profile. This lets them "lock into" your belt to hold everything rock solid. Much more so than you'd think a single clip could be. There are two sets of screws on the body of the IWB; one set adjusts the angle of the cant and the other set adjusts retention. Lastly they also offer two choices of color for the kydex and two choices for the leather liner.

Here are a couple of pictures of two of my CCW gun and their respective IWBs (the left is my HK P30s and of course the one on the right is my Nano).

Their customer service is awesome, too! Great folks to deal with. Any time I've ever had an issue they fixed it quickly. For instance I clumsily broke a belt clip once and they sent me another one for free, the same day! And once I screwed up and ordered the wrong belt clip size; even though it was 100% my fault they still sent me the correct one Priority, for free. Great people!

I also have an STX 2.0, an OWB that they make. Mine is for my USPf9. Like you I wanted an OWB and an IWB so I got one of each. The STX 2.0 OWB is great but I never use it- I quickly learned that I'm an IWB fella.

Ooops, missed the price limit. The Garrett is about $85. For under $50 I like the ZeroConcealmentSystems (ZCS) rigs. They're pure kydex.

ok, thought i would update. i bought a tagua iwb holster and like it real good, it is molded to the gun and fits nice. i am still looking for a owb holster, i need something that will fit snug up against my body. thanks

Zlogonje Gunleathers can give you both in very attractive leather holsters. They're a little more than you spec'd, but I think you'll be happy you anted up the difference.

Mine (OWB for a SR9c) should arrive in about a week (hopefully!!).

I carry a Springfield XDs .45 ACP in OWB rig that I got from these people http://www.wrightleatherworks.com/products/predator-pancake-holster for $90.00 shipping included and that's for a custom fitted holster molded to your specific hand gun. If it's not right they'll make it right check them out I've had this holster for over a year and love it most of the time I forget that I'm wearing it it's that comfortable. Honest Injun.
