OK, who changed their names from TFL?

Way back when I joined TFL, I was pretty new to the BB / Forum thing and used the first thing that popped into my head. Slisher became Slish based on nicknames.
Moondancer was my "handle" years ago during the CB phase of my life, and I thought of it again just a couple weeks ago. Always kinda liked it, so I thought I'd change the persona here at THR.

I kept the same name I had on TFL. I post on several forums and the same name keeps me from getting confused.

I have three usernames
I used to be LonWilson. Now I'm Lonnie Wilson.
I also go by the name Gray Fox, and also Glock. Yep, I was unable to grab up those usernames from TFL and now I have THR. Very cool.

Well, this is my first post on The High Road and I am pleased to take part. I was a member of The Firing Line for just under two years and used to post there as "NG Bruce". I decided to switch to my SASS alias "Odessa" as I have been using that as my "internet name" on all other forums I post at (Ruger, S&W, Marlin, BearTooth, and SASS. Just happy to have another TFL like forum as TFL was unique. Odessa
     Hi all! I just heard about this forum today, and decided to grab my normal user name before someone else got it. I use Drifter on all the forums I'm registered with except the Pravda forum, where I got banned, and had to sneak back in as John Nada.
     I didn't change my name from The Fireing Line because I never registered there because someone else had the name, and like a lot of other posters I didn't want to get myself confused by using a bunch of different ones.
     And no, I didn't steal my name from an active Fireing Line poster. There was a Drifter registered there, but the last time I checked he hadn't posted anything in over three years, so I figure I have a right to the name after so long.

Used my full name - Gary L. Griffiths - on TFL. Seems a bit formal, so I thought I'd go with something a little more informal. Since "Griff" was already taken, went with my old mascot symbol (I used to do investigative hypnosis). Looking forward to receiving the same top-notch info on this board that I got from TFL. So I used the year I graduated from HS.
Family joke with 4 sibs parents made a big deal out of calling us by wrong name and confusing B-days. Parents got cockey (wrote them down in wallets) and asked to be quizzed "we know you kids". Me -'yeah well when did I graduate?' [dumb blank stare] when did bro grad and where" [dumb blank stare] Understand this info now written down in wallets...durn eldest son may ask someday [smirk]

It's the name I've used for sometime on various boards.
I am a range officer for a firearms training facility in Colorado. The owner has a name for everyone, he calls me Smoke. I thought it fitting for the enviroment here.

I understand how your parents feel about all that. My kids don't much mind me calling each by his brothers' names, but get a little upset when I get the dog's name mixed in!

OT, but you'll appreciate this. My good friend not worth a hoot at being around babies...clueless. But he knows hunting dogs. So he goes hunting, daughter about a year old, the one dog is upset about not going hunting, baby is crying, doorbell rings, telemarketers on the phone...wife is frazzled...dog is eating the kids food and the baby girl is into his dog food. Mom lets out a sigh, brushes her back " aw to heck with it...both had shots...I give up"...
I think she was glad I brought some groceries over...she was about to forget adult talk....sound familar pax?

Wasn't until the picture was developed that I realized that he and the dog had been competing for the dropped leftovers...
