Actually this little gal used to feed the dogs from the high-chair. best "seat in the house". thought daughter was eating veggies, couldn't understand why none of the commands worked on them (but obeyed daughter) and don't even attempt to correct when dogs present--they'd protect her...still do to this day.

I've been 'Sarge' everywhere else, and on TFL it was taken; I waited a polite 30 seconds to see if anyone else had it yet, and then grabbed it. Used to be 'invssgt'on TFL.

When I was a neophyte re guns, and a new-comer on TFL, my name was "tyro" (= "novice").

After spending many months benefiting from the superb sources of information and advice on TFL, I was no longer a "tyro", so I changed my name to "Melos" (melos is Greek for "member") during the latter part of my participation on TFL.

Melos seems as good a name as any for my participation on THR.

Wanted to have one username for internet: thought first initial + middle name would work.
