I am not familiar with the knife you referenced.

Now the Old Hickory I am familiar with, are the 1095 Carbon Steel knives, including Kitchen, Agricultural and others OH shows on the web site; Just peruse the site.
These knives are proven, still proven and really are that great.

Seriously, some of the OH knives I use, and others, are old knives, we remember being used as kids.
Just like cast iron cookware.

i love my Old Hickory fixed blade knives i have two. one with a eight inch blade and a smaller one with a six inch. i have read that they are very similar to what the mountain man used.

i noticed the folders are made out of some kind of satinless steel which makes me wonder about the quality?

That Stainless caught my attention as well.
hso can most likely chime in and help us out, my guess is SMKW had these made up special for them, for a special run.

I doubt seriously if that steel is anywhere near that of the RAT.

Carbon Steel, would interest me more, and be worth paying a bit more for the 1095 CS Ontario is known for in that style offered.

Chinese made stainless folding fruit/veg knife that Ontario brought in last year.

Which stainless? Dunno.

Good looking little knife though. At $4 it's worth a try.
