So I just got a job at the local pawn shop, and once they know me well enough to let me carry at work, il be carrying my HK every day at work. I currently have just a cheap leather thumb break holster and a Blackhawks SERPa and don't like them.

I want retention, but I hate the trigger finger release of the SERPa. My favorite that I've seen are the Houges with the thumb release or even their universal speed holsters with magnetic and thumb retention. I'd like to stay under 150. Thoughts?

Safariland ALS.

If you are going to be without a counter between yourself and customers then go with the SLS. If the counter will serve as a barrier, then ALS.

I'd go with the SLS for a little more retention if I were going to OC under those circumstances. I wouldn't go near a SERPA.
