Opinions, Rocky Mountain Reloading bullets

I use RMR 115 FMJ-RN (.3555-.356 Dia. .562 to .569 in length) with 4.6 gr. Of hp-38 , Win brass[4th reloading] , good ejection spot,3 ft away in a mid sized pile. Low recoil.seems just as dirty after 100 of any ammo we have used, Accuracy, just standing there and shoot we get 3 inch group at 21 ft. My hot loads makes a 2 inch hole on paper, I Want the Plinker loads, lol I'm buying 5000 9mm 5000 .380!

My order was in the mail yesterday. 500 124gr nukes and 500 69gr 3gh. The 69s were supposed to be back ordered when I ordered last Saturday so I was surprised when they showed up with the 9mm. Whole order arrived in 4 business days. Ordered Saturday evening arrived Friday in the mail.

Today was go time with some selected testers. Groups could have been better if it wasn't 111 degrees on the firing line. Seriously, that's what the thermometer read.
BUT, I digress. I am VERY happy with these bullets!

124gr Tear 11 paces.jpg

That is the 124 gr Tear used in 38 Special out of a Rossi 885 at 11 paces. Not bad for a belly gun!

5 point 2 grain CFE pistol 124gr Nuke 11 paces.jpg

10 rounds of the 124 gr Nuke in 9mm at 11 paces out of a CZ P-10C. I'm thinking I am on to something here. I will be buying more of these.

Their 124gr JHP 9mm bullets have always been solid performers for me. I bought a bag of their special "smileyface" .357 bullets when they first came out. They shoot perfectly well, but they make me and everyone who sees them smile as well, so there's that.

I really like RMR bullets. I have been using them for a long time.

I just tried some RMR 9MM brass and so far I like it a lot. It's very well made and consistent. It's a pleasure to load. I'll buy more when Jake has it available again.

Well, you did a lot better than me! Nice work. I found what MIGHT be the sweet spot in 9mm with the Nukes, 5.3gr CFE Pistol at 1.065 in my CZ P-10C. Further testing is required. ;)

I’m running low on my old favorite FMJ, the obsolete Winchester .356” 130 FP. A good tough bullet designed to penetrate in the 38 Super.

I think the RMR 9mm 124 MATCHWINNER looks like the best available substitute.

I’m a big fan of FMJ-FPs in 9mm, especially outdoors.

Curious about anyones experience with the lighter bullets from RMR in 9mm. I may be in search if a lighter 9mm target load.
The RMR 115Gr 9mm bullets are good to go. I use them in everything from my Sig P938, Glock G43, G26, G17, G34, and my 10.5" 9mm AR with good results.

Finally got the old ProChrono out. 4 groups of 5, 124gr Nuke, 5.3gr CFE pistol, 1.065 COAL, FCD used, fired two hand standing at a distance of 5 feet from the sky screens gave me an average of 1114 FPS, and a SD of just 15 from a P-10C with a 4.02 inch barrel. Bullets went right where I wanted them to go. This is an excellent training round that well simulates a carry round, and perfectly functional in its own right as that should be well above the threshold for expansion.

I reloaded 400 124gr MPR's last night and getting ready to load some more tonight. It's too hot to shoot.

I've purchased several of their offerings in both pistol and rifle. The pistol bullets, I like. The rifle bullets I've tried are the 69 gr HPBT. It's been a journey trying to get them to shoot as tight as other big name HPBTs. I have found better accuracy with the RMRs in an AR by seating them deeper than the typical 2.250-2.260. Seating them to 2.230 seemed to tighten up.

I just loaded up some of the 124gr FMJs in 9mm, and since I had them laying around, I loaded up some 124 MPRs with the same powder and load to see how they did.

This is a generic "operates all my 9mm pistols" load, accuracy was not a factor in the load development.

For the fun of it, I put out a SR-1 Center at 100 yards and shot it with my 10.5" cheap red dot equipped AR pistol (no magnification) laying on the duffel bag. (the black on the target is 6"-ish) For a 9mm HP using random load data in a short barrel at 100, that is promising. I am going to actually work up a carbine accuracy load for these to see what they can do.
