Percentage of guns you bought 2nd-hand

56% of the guns I own have been used by someone else. Some of those were given to me though, so just looking at what I've purchased or traded myself that number is 44%.
And if I add in guns I've sold, out of all the guns I've owned 59% of them were used. I've bought a lot of new firearms this year which skewed the results, before that the last new firearm I had bought was in 2015.

Most by far, but they're machined to last, doesn't matter as long as you look them over.

I ordered a brand-new Colt AR15 just before the Federal ban but deployed and never go it.

Every other one found me - I don't seek them out.

Rare exception might be jumping through all those hoops back in the day of the DCM to get my first Garand.

My actual count is way off my recollections. I'm at 57% used and 43% new for handguns and exactly 50-50 on long guns. I'm actually a lot heavier in total handguns than I thought, too.
