I took my Pico to the range today to try it out. Overall it worked very well. Recoil was there but not that bad. Honestly it just felt slightly more than my 9mm Shield. I used to own a 340PD which was like a kick to the chest, so I was pleasantly surprised.

I really like the trigger on it. It had a tendency to pull the shots to one side or the other, but practice should correct this issue. I also shot way low the first shot, overcorrect, and then get it more to point of aim. Here is a pic of the first 2 mags at about 7 yards with Remington green and yellow box fmj.

I did have 2 of the Remington rounds not fire with the first strike. When shot again they fired normally. I don't know if it was a light primer strike or the ammo. I want to say the ammo because other brands I fired (Aguila, Blaser Brass, and some Hornady Critical Defense) all fired properly.

I fired a dozen Hornady Critical Defense with the FTX bullets and those functioned properly.

I had one stove pipe jam, but I was using a one hand hold and limp twisted the shot. No other jams or mechanical issues. I fired 134 rounds through the Pico today, in addition to the other guns I brought

A very good first day of shooting for the Pico! I think I have a winner!
