Any one know of any company currently manufacturing pistol carbines that lack a pistol grip, like the Ruger PC9 or Marlin Camp Carbine?

Legacy Sports International claims they're going introduce a 9mm version of their Citadel brand .22 LR M1 Carbine style rifle. Supposedly they're going to introduce it sometime this year, but they've been saying that since this spring.

Are thumb-hole stocks acceptable, or does Chicago consider that the same as a pistol grip?

AFAIK thumbhole stocks count towards a pistol grip.

My curiosity though was just in general, not towards looking to buy something.

From what I can tell, it looks like the pistol caliber AR uppers have pretty much stomped everything else out of the market.

OOOps... This has the grip...
Kel-Tec model SUB-2000 9mm or 40 S&W.
Have the 40 S&W. Mine uses Glock mags so that is interchangable. Very accurate out to 50 yards. Clay pigions are no effort. Pivot folds in half to fit most any briefcase.
Other model 2000 use mags for other brands of semi autos.
