My local shop had a POF tombstone in stock so I fondled and took some pictures of things I thought were notable. Couple things that first stood out to me is that the finish on the forend and receiver were way different in color and the barrel exterior had heavy rough machining marks. Racking the side I noticed there is almost no mechanical advantage to cock the hammer so the last 1/3rd of the cycle suddenly becomes very stiff at an abrupt point, and then the hammer drags on the bottom of the bolt while closing so there is kind of a gritty drag on the bolt. The $300 Turkish shotguns that were next to it look brilliantly well made by comparison.
