I was talking to a retired LEO who runs a local gun range the other day and we were talking about shooting and accuracy at 15-50 yards with a handgun.
he said that point shooting was more accurate in this regard with practice.
As I think he put it, point shooting is a reaction, target shooting is you training your mucles and eyes to perform.
He admitted that as a LEO he was trained with the isoceles or weaver stance. These are ideal for target shooting but draw and fire pointshooting is better for defense.
What do y'all think of this?
