Buy once cry once...take it from a guy with a bunch of stuff in a junk drawer. Yes you can save a few bucks up front on a 30-50 dollar holster, but a few months in and you will be buying again due to breakage, discomfort, or poor design. I have had a lot more discomfort than breakage, and poor design plays into both of those. I ended up getting away from IWB and going to pocket holster for my little guns, and vertical shoulder rig for my bigger heavier guns.
An odd suggestion is to narrow it down to 4 or 5 different options. Look for USED versions on ebay, gunbroker, etc. What you see the least is what people are generally keeping. Go for the one you can't find on the used market.
