I dunno but as a career LEO...

"I'm a LEO, I know what I'm talking about" has been the source of resounding forehead slapping for ages. The number of times law enforcement officers who think they know the law get trounced by the courts is well... It literally fills law libraries.

It's just this simple, unless you are being asked to leave a store for something that is part of a protected class under federal law, tough. You have to leave when asked or you are trespassing. Shop owner doesn't like the color of your hair, get out. Shop owner doesn't like your tats, get out. Shop owner doesn't like your race, he can suck it. Shop owner doesn't like the fact that you are armed? Is being armed part of a federally protected class? No. Then you have to leave.

Being a LEO in Kansas has squat to do with that unless Kansas happens to have a law that includes being armed as part of a protected class. Perhaps you could post for us the Kansas law that makes wearing a firearm a protected class.
