Which do you shoot MOST of in IDPA?

If you have a pic of it...add that too!

I shoot a Glock 17 with 3.5lb connector, grip tape and a hi-viz fiber optic front sight and standard fixed rear sight.

Other then a bobbed hammers my SSRs are a pair of bone stock Mdl 67 Smith & Wessons.

I voted SSP,but I shoot in these classes:
SSP-Glock 17,Taurus pt111(Sharp shooter)
CDP-Taurus pt945(sharp shooter)
SSR-Rossi 461(2")(Marksman)
BUG-S/W 642

SSP --> Bone stock (internally) Glock 19 + Hienie "Straight Eight" sights & a Hogue slip-on grip...but, I have been leaning back towards wheelguins so I voted SSP since I plan to work up some light .357mag case loads for my 686 soon & try my hand with it for a while.

ALL classes

I shoot all, beginning with what I shoot the most of in descending order......

CDP - 1911 Usually a Les Baer premier II .45 ACP
ESP - 1911 Colt series 70 9mm OR Springfield XD 9mm
SSR - S&W 686 4"
SSP - Glock 26

I haven't gone in a while, but I just like going for the fun of it...I'll take my P7M8, one of my USPs or Berettas or maybe even a Glock...in short, I shoot in the standard service pistol class :D

ESP/CDP SV Infinity 9mm/45acp
SSP Glock 34
ESR S&W 625
SSR S&W 686
I shoot ESP most throughout the year, SSR at a lot of sanctioned matches. Other classes as I feel like it.

SSP - Sig P226 (2 years ago) Grip tape and TFO Sight
SSR- 686 (last year) Miculek grips and SDM front Sight
CDP- S&W 1911 (This year) Grip tape, Ed Brown Ambi Safety, mag well, Dawson front Sight

Sharpshooter in each.

Adam

I shoot all 5 classes but I have the most fun shooting ESR and SSR. I am crazy about wheelguns.

There's a sound that a moonclip full of 230 grainers makes when it's snatched from the holder for a reload that always makes me smile when I hear it.
It sounds like a sword being drawn from it's scabbard. CHHHHHIINGGG. Yes, I am easily entertained. :D

First 4 matches have been SSP, twice with a GLOCK and twice with my SIG. Next time out will be ESP with my XD that replaced the GLOCK.

I shoot a 17 in SSP almost exclusively, but I have shot a CZ 75 in ESP a couple of times. Now it's got different sights than those in the picture, but I think I like the standard rear / Hiviz front just as well.

SSP - bone stock steyr (either S9 or M9A1 depending on if i want to be small or medium framed)

SSR- exactly once, when my wife was pregnant and not shooting I thought her S.W. model 19-3 needed a workout.:scrutiny:

My carry G19 for SSP. I'm now working out a SW 1911Sc for CDP. The latter has been a real fun gun to shoot. Of course, I buy it when the ammo goes sky high in price.

CDP I shoot a stock SA Loaded except for Heinie/Fiber Optic sights
SSR Stock S&W 686
SSP Glock 34 Warren/Sevigny sights (I almost never shoot SSP anymore. 1911 and revolver are just too much fun)

S&W 19-3, 2.5-inch Nickel. Action job, Pachmyr grips. Safariland Comp IIs.
fun, fun, fun!

SSP Sig 226 - 9mm - Wood Grips - TruGlo Sights
CDP Colt 1911 Series 80 - fibreoptic front
ESP BHP 9mm - Micarta thin grips Stock

I was using my 586. I just shot my first match last weekend with my 3" 686 CS-1. That is a super little six-gun. I'm looking now for a 681 or 581, locally, to use. The fixed sights and full lug, appeal to me. Shooting 38's out of one of those, will feel like shooting 22's.

Here is my set up for SSP:
Glock 35 w/ blue skate tape
Comp-tac locking padle holster & matching dual mag pouch in desert camo
The following mods to the G35: .25 trigger job, aluminum trigger bar with mods, Ti striker & plunger, trigger spring modified, reduced power striker spring, HiViz front sight -factory rear. MG 180grHP, 3.2 gr Titegroup = 139pf
