Here is the balloon target shot with a Polish 4.5mm Predom Lucznik pellet pistol. Since 30 feet is nearing the edge of it's max. accurate range, and the target it should be capable of hitting at that diference s greater in size than the balloons, I shot it from 7 yards (between 21 and 22 feet).

hit the NRA range first thing this morning:

Colt Agent revolver (DAO, 2" barrel):

*ETA - all shots were fired two handed/standing/unsupported, WWB value pack FMJ ammo.

Did a little better than I anticipated with the snubbie; very new to shooting revolvers, and still getting the hang of it. All targets were from the beginning of my range session; I intended to run additional targets at the end of my session, but forgot...

This was quite fun, and hard, as I thought it would be.

All 3 targets are 10 yards, 2 handed, offhand.

Browning Buckmark Camper (5.5" bbl) - CCI Mini Mag HP (i realized later that the red dot sight was off to the right)
SW1911 stainless 5" bbl (rental) - American Eagle 230 gr
Glock 19 - Blazer Al 115gr.

I shot these back to back, and the differences in the triggers was very noticable. :uhoh: (I've got to get myself a 1911, eventually...)

Do you mind if I try one of these targets at 100yards with my .22 rifle? Could I post the target or do you strictly want to keep this to handguns?

Sure, try it with a rifle. I was actually planning on doing a few "rifle challenges" soon I just know that more people have handgun ranges than rifle ranges so I've been sticking with handguns.

I completely missed all those challenge threads:eek: I think I will do them all at once tomorrow, if I hope I'll hit something...

I can't miss that one!!! :D

I have to say that it makes me glad that people enjoy these silly challenges so much!
It makes it a group thing and it is more fun showing each other our targets instead of just chunking them in the waste can at the range. :)

OK, tougher than I thought! I used to wheelguns, S&W 629 Classic 6", and S&W Model 19-4 4". All shots were single action, two handed standing, unsupported.

First was the .44 mag. I couldn't stay away from that white balloon for some reason! :)

Next the .38 with some old handloads I had. I'm blaming them for the terrible accuracy. :p They shot really high.

I keep telling folks that this one is a toughie but nobody believes me until they try it for themselves. I've shot this target about 9 times and don't have a perfect score yet!

First try - Model 14. This load shoots pretty much to point of aim.

Second try - Model 14. This load shoots up & to the left from point of aim.

This is a tough target, but fun. I must try it with my Series 80 Colt with the Ultra Dot. :D

Zespectre,

Just being a cheapskate.:neener: On average, a box of 50 .45 ACP rounds (my principal plinking round) is 15.00 a box or about 30 cents a round. With 10 balloons, that would have cost me 3 bucks. Now, with the Wallyworld Remington Shotgun rounds being 5 bucks for 25 rounds equalling 20 cents a round.

One shot cost me 20 cents vice 3 bucks. I was even lucky enough to get some strings. :neener:

Seriously........ this is from 30 yards? People are getting this accurate from 30 yards?
I smell a little BS..... but fun challenge. I'm gonna print all of these and go to the range next week.
