WWB 230gr FMJ from 45' fired two handed, unsupported. My best five shot group of the night measured 1.18"

I appreciate the participation but can we please try to use the standard target listed in the first post. It makes comparisons a lot easier.

Thanks.

I'm gonna do it again this weekend with a few different pistols and see what happens. I have high hopes that the ol' XD-40 will make me proud again.

Here is my GLOCK 21 at 20 yards. There are 13 rounds in a 4 inch target.

Here is my GLOCK 36 at the same yardage. Six shots in less than 4 inches. Trust me when I say that my GLOCK's are far more accurate than I am.

Now this was fun.:)

I just bought a shot timer to speed up my shooting a bit.
I set it for three seconds, starting with the gun pointed down before each shot.

All went well with the shots being about 2.5 seconds until the last 5 shot string. I got confused with the "Fire" and "Stop" buzzer and also threw a shot into left field.:D

I think next time I'll set the "Par" time at 2 seconds. 3 seconds doesn't apply quite enough pressure.

Okay so some days are better than others :D

First target was a Springfield XD-40, Indoor range, 15 yards, shot unsupported left and then unsupported right (I'm a lefty). The pink dots indicate the right hand (which seems to wander a lot, sigh). Medium shooting speed.

Next is me trying again with the Kel-Tec P-3AT. Wow having the +1 magazine extension really does make a world of difference in the control. I can't believe how well I did from that tiny little barrel.

There were actually 7 shots. #4 did a flier just off the edge of the paper and #5 was the bullseye (I about passed out). I mean it's not really a bragging target until you realize its a freaking P-3AT at 15 YARDS! :D

Weather's warming up... I expect to see more targets out of you guys!

I am going to the range this weekend. I will print out some targets and try to post them here. Great thread!!

I'll try too... the weather here cannot make up its mind, sunny, cloudy, rainy, clear at night :cuss: , sunny but I have to work :cuss: , cloudy..

I guess I'll have to wait another 5 minutes, maybe it will snow. ;)

While I was at it I thought I'd try ZeSpectre's latest 10 yard challange at 15 yards.

I forgot how good a shooter that Security Six is. It's been in the truck for something over five years.

I don't guess I can call the first and last shots Warning Shots can I.:D

I'd like to play. How do I upload photos to here? Not an idiot, generally, but not informed on how to do this.

1. Go to http://imageshack.us/ and upload your pic from your PC (I assume you know how to browse through your PC to find the correct pic).

2. Once the image has been successfully uploaded, you'll be given a whole list of URLs - some of them are thumbnails suitable for forums, others are for full-size pics (I'd suggest the thumbnails at first). Copy one of those lines of code (highlight it, right-click with your mouse, then select "Copy" from the pop-up menu)

3. Come back here, open a new post, right-click with your mouse and then select "Paste" from the popup menu.
