I wouldn't want to buy them at that price, but it's not the worst I've seen the last few years.

Thats about $25 more per 5k than I paid for Genix. The Genix price included shipping and HazMat if you bought 2 cases.

The advantage of Genix is the my revolvers tuned for Federal primers will set them off…they won’t set off CCI primers

I am on the verge of sending a couple of "tuned" revolvers to S&W for conversion back to "stock". I don't know what the hell "Genix" is, but if they go off in a race gun I will have to put some thought into it.

I don’t think we’ll be “turning the corner” anytime soon. I’ll be reducing my shooting volume and going back to revolvers and 22s for a while.

Yep very easy fix and no ill effects in my tuned revolvers. I have been getting notices for these 600 buck primers for a few weeks. I guess if you want them go for it. My LGS got a bunch of Winchester primers. All I needed to restock was SP so I bought 5000. 60 bucks per 1000. Not good but probably as good as it will get for a while.

Sure has not change peoples buying habits of vehicles. Heck it's nothing pay over $75,000 for some folks.

Division of labor, value of time, worth of skills, yaddayadda... same old story. Things cost what it takes to make them - cost of doing business - plus enough to make the effort worthwhile. End of story.

$75,000 would last me a life time of Reloading & Guns!

but I would only spend that if it was .5% of my net worth! that’s why I love my 2004 S200!

I’d jump all over $60/k if they were Federal SPP, maybe even CCI…but I’d usually pass on Winchester. I may have to re-calibrate

I'd pay $60 for any of those brands. A thousand OTC but I would want at least 5000 to spread out the shipping and hazmat if mail ordering.

If you're out of primers, by all means buy some so you can load this year. I'm of the opinion that this isn't a time to stock up for a decade.

My focus right now is to pickup any Vista produced primers that come on the market at any reasonable (?) price. Anything we’re likely to see from them is likely overflow from their ammo production.

must be military, I don’t know anybody buying ammo after 2 years of 3-5x prices.

normal situation is, “I got 4 boxes just incase” and they all stop buying
