I reload for the 500 and had the same issue using Berrys 350 bullets. The issue with the these bullets is the cannelure is not located in the same place as Hornady 350gr bullets so the bullet isn't seated as deep into the brass.

You have a few options

1. Stop using Berrys bullets
2. Use Berrys but increase the amount of powder. 296/H110 hates minimum charges and it's well documented when you go below minimum.

Once I stopped using Berrys bullets, my reloads were more consistent and haven't had any issues.

Does anyone use a cannalure tool? There are a couple aftermarket companies that make them and you can add another cannalure to your bullet. Multiple ones can't hurt if you don't like the factory one, help change the seating depth to a better place.

Just sayin'.
