It can happen and here's your chance to help. Seems every Friday the Evening News with Katie wastes 5 minutes of news time to do a fluff story. Some could say they waste 30 minutes but this isn't a post about that  For the next story you can vote to see a Cowboy action shoot. I'm sure they'll try in the usual CBS fashion to put a negative "spin" on the story somehow, but CASS shoots are hard to bad mouth. Just follow this link VOTE HERE and pick "Cowboy Dreams" as the next Assignment America story.

A huge landslide for "Cowboy Dreams" might open some eyes at CBS. Then again maybe I'm just dreaming. :banghead: :)

Ehhh

While I do not CAS, I have zero problem with people who do. Especially as they are shooting, something near and dear to all of us, and it gets more folks who were on the fence, off it. the line I object to in the run up to the vote it this.

"Send Steve to witness a showdown at the Poser Corral"

Thanks, Katy, I notice you don't make fun of the refugees though.... :cuss:

I voted for cowboy action to support the cause. But I gotta admit the "think pink" is gonna be tough to beat. If it wasn't for this thread I would have voted to see criminals in pink. :barf:

In a new anchors cheesey joke voice - "Gee those guys might want to take a course in gun safety with how they twirl those things around like that. Guns aren't toys you know." *chuckle*chuckle* "Right, Jim, but they are still playing cowboys and indians sooo......" *tilts head like he said something profound*

Most of us stopped playing cowboy when we hit puberty. But a lot of people apparently still like to pretend — and even compete to see who's the most convincing. Send Steve to witness a showdown at the Poser Corral.

Sure doesn't sound like it would be a positive story to me.
