I noticed the following in another post and I was wondering, seeing as it is from my neck of the woods, if anyone had tips/opinions on being proactive about distancing the gun community from these people as the western part of this state is fairly liberal and will attempt to use this against us.

Thanks

The following information has not been corroborated by the Texas DPS Intelligence Center.

An unidentified radical Western Washington Constitutionalist/Militiaman authored several postings to an internet discussion site expressing his belief that the system of law enforcement in the United States in general and an unidentified Washington State County in specific is a criminal enterprise. He refers to law enforcement officers as criminals who wear uniforms that are supported by the criminal state. He then goes on to make the statement that “It is time to do away with law enforcement as it currently exists”. These postings appeared in a discussion board featuring the increase in frequency and brutality of recent on duty deaths of police officers. This subject owns a parcel of property on which he has regularly conducted armed Militia training sessions to include squad based “shoot-and-move” events under the cover of rifle competitions. He and his associates have been responsible for producing videos expressing their belief that a conflict with the government is inevitable and will occur in the relatively near future. The unidentified subject is also part of a Constitutionalist Common Law Court. The common law court has posted audio files of conference calls to their internet web site in which an individual claiming to be the said militiaman can be heard to discuss the issuance of arrest warrants for non-specific government officials to be served by the militia.

Have you confirmed that they need to be denounced? Various groups use such "reports" to taint public/official impressions of groups they want to undermine.
