Purchased Springfield Echelon To Replace CZ P-09. Well, Not So Fast,...

I have 6 CZs and love every one.
The looks and shootablity can't be beat.
I have the P-09, P-07, 75 Compact, SP-01 Competition Blue, P-10c and a P-10s.
I'd have a hard time trading any of them off.

I used to have an all steel CZ....SP-01. It was a fine gun. Sold it because I no longer liked the "distressed look" a jerk gunsmith put on it...and didn't want to go through the issue of refinishing it. Really,...most of my issue with the steel CZs, like the SP-01, is that I'd prefer it hot blued, but apparently the quality of the metal under the black coating isn't good for a bluing. But my preference would be....a long slide blued...threaded....adjustable sites.....non-railed....SAO...competition hammer type CZ. And yeah,...I'm aware it would be exceptionally pricey of a gun.

CGW and CZ Custom would be willing to listen. For a fee, I agree.

I took the Echelon back out to the range over the weekend. I think I'm beginning to understand it better. Groups were decent as well. May keep it after all....as well as the CZ.

I have had a disappointing range session with a new gun before. Sometimes it just takes some shooting to get used to things.
