put new stocks on my Savages

finally got some stocks to replace the factory tupperware.

while the Bell&Carlson Duramaxx stocks are not Mcmillans, they are much better than Savage's.

used that $30 Cabelas coupon to order the black one. $79+shipping. which I put one the 308.



while at the INDY 1500 gun show friday, I came across a good deal on another one, $85.

put it on my 223.

now, all I need is some decent weather for a range tryout.

If you find that the forearms are still just a little felxable or soft to your taste,, try glass'en in a couple of welding rods,, it helped mine
