Question about M&P reassembly...

I detail stripped my M&P 45c for the first time last night without proper knowledge of how to put it back together. I initially took it apart to remove the thumb safety(frame plugs on the way), that went just fine as did putting together the rest of the pistol.

But when putting the slide stop back on, I have the slide stop spring resting on the locking block. Is this correct or should it be under the roll pin? It functions somewhat fine, just curious if my gun has not been put back together correctly.

Just bought an M&P .40c and all I know whats needed out of the ordainary during take down, is you need to push down wire which is just below the ejector rod. I would guess that this needs to be down when reassembling. LM

I'm not talking about field stripping, I have done that 100's of times. I'm talking about detail stripping. Thanks though.

Rather than try to describe it through a written description, I would recommend looking on Youtube and looking for a video of the correct procedure.
