Ive been reading the "buy another range bag thread" I have a a rigid box like the Husky mentioned and I also have a Midway range bag. I used the box set up when I had a pickup but Im driving a small SUV and the soft bag is getting more work now.
I would like to see any hacks you have came up with for containers for say, your cleaning kit, band-aid kit, trauma kit, etc.
I shoot a couple of S&W 625 revolvers and discovered that the plano tackle boxes make an
excellent carrier for them, they latch securely and will lay down or stand up and allow the bag to be zipped closed.

For the revolvers, I use this double sided tackle box, holds enough for a match. D9D5A163-2592-427D-8E27-6AD11EC92D57.jpeg
I appreciate the stapler container that always keep staples handy and contained.

My favorite is probably the pocket oiler a friend gave me years ago. No more mess from leaking oil containers and I can put a drop right where I want it.

MTM boxes can be your friend. Available in several sizes and colors, too.

Random pouches can be handy. Which wants haunting "accessories" racks. Cases for other things can be your friend. Old pocket camera cases; GPS carrying cases; eyeglasses/sunglasses cases; all of these can find use in a range bag.

Look for belt or luggage clips, too; also snap links and carabiners, come in handy.

Mostly, I rely on the pockets and pouches already in/on the bag.
