Me too but that depends greatly upon what engine we are talking about.

At one point, sbc, now, Toyota 22r, but probably any engine before 95 that's not European.

Cleaning rod and a bottle of oil and a padded glove. Haven't needed anything else, so far.

I've got a shooting bag that I travel to matches with, it contains all the normal "portable" stuff: oil, squib rod, allen wrenches, spare batteries for timer & ear pro and screwdriver with bits.

90% of the time I'm on my home range. In my shed (pictured) I've got spray paint, tools to fix targets, targets, spare target hardware, empty coffee cans for brass etc.

Ah, the fabled brass magnet. What is its day job? Harvesting fallen nuts or golfballs? Sounds like an excellent solution.

Besides the usual assortment small tools including Lyman’s excellent little hammer with its interchangeable heads and stored in the handle brass punch, I recently added this gizmo when I’m shooting autos on the indoor range.
The VA gave me this after PT for arthritic fingers. It will even grab 22 cases. It folds as shown and rides nicely on top of the range bag tucked under the carry handles.
