ready to send papers

Have all my papers filled out and was ready to send in order to get my stamp to get my draco listed as a sbr.But came up with a problem,the pictures taken by the state police were way to large.They advised me to just crop the picture to show a full face only.I'm a little leery of this because I don't know how nit picking the feds would be.Just what should be on the picture,just the face or more.I live in a real rural location so it will be a 60 mile round trip to a town that has a store to take my pictures so I need to know just what kind of picture is needed.Any suggestions ?

Just the face is fine, you don't need your shoulders or anything in the pic. I usually have Walgreens do some passport photos.

Walgreens passport photos are perfect, you get two 2"x2" photos for like $6.....just do that and glue stick then to your form 1.

Cruise into town and wear a nice solid color shirt, that will be perfect, and dont forget to smile!

When you say crop, do you mean cut the picture with scissors or do you have an electronic version you are going to crop then print? Or do you have a scanner you can use to scan them and print on photo paper? Usually you can fiddle with your printer settings to make it the size you want. 2"x2" is all they need, and just the face.

I just cut the picture with scissors.From top of head to just below the neck.

You can photograph yourself with a digital camera then just crop it and print it out on photo paper. Save you a special trip into town.
