Any idea why Redding makes two profile crimp dies for 44mag? One is part 86186 that is listed as 44 Mag only ... the other is 86286 that's for 44 Special and Mag. What's the difference?

I don't know about those product numbers, but Redding makes a roll crimp and a taper crimp die in .44 caliber. I think they only call the roll crimp a "profile die" though.
They do make some .357 only dies vs .38/.357, but I think they are special order. I don't know why anyone would not use the combo dies.
