Reflex red dot for Springfield 1911

Thinking about putting a Reflex style red dot on my Springfield 1911. It is a commander length Range Officer Elite. I have dug around the web a little and from what I've seen the dovetail cut on the Springfield seems slightly different than other standard Novak cuts. Does anyone know for sure what adapter plate would be needed ? Thinking about Vortex or Burris, possibly the Leupold. Really not interested in having the slide cut or milled. Just wondering if anyone here has done this ? It doesn't seem like that much of a stretch as I am seeing more red dots on pistols every day.

Had a chance to do a little more research today. EGW lists a adapter for Burris (#49311) and the Vortex (#49430). I had read before on some other forums that the EGW did not have an exact fit. The thread was 2+ years old so maybe it's been worked out. Anyone use the above with success ?
