Remington RM380 (Roghbar R380) is out?

I wish them the best of luck, but this is a crowded market with not much feature-wise separating one player from another, and I'm not sure what it does that a Ruger LCP or Taurus TCP doesn't do just as well for half the price. Something like the Sig P238 can justify a higher price because it's fundamentally different from those other pocket pistols (single-action trigger and real sights and 1911-esque design and all), but the RM380 can't make any such argument. On paper it looks basically identical to the LCP and TCP.

Part of the advertising from Remington stated that this new 380 would have a slide that would be much easier to operate. That is the only reason why I want one. My father, an ex LEO, has severe arthritis and struggles with most slides.

I handled one at the NRA meeting and it's nicely done. And yes, the slide is a breeze to rack.

I also handled an R51 2.0 immediately afterwards and it's still crap.
