Reserve Order

I recently purchased a Springfield EMP, 9 mm from "XXX" on-line on 1/3/2013. (I did not give the vendors name for fear of appearing to besmirch them.) My credit card was approved. I have provided the FFL. The order was immediately listed as "Reserve Order". It has remained on reserve order since with no contact or updates from the vendor. I have tried to use their web page "Contact Us" but that does not allow me to inquire about the status of the order. Today I called the vendor twice and was disconnected both times before ever speaking to anyone. I fully realize all the vendors are selling beyond belief right now, but I also do not intend to sit back when I should be responding.

The question is how long do I wait before doing something?

Go to their FAQ...I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like you technically backordered it, which means it may be a while before you ever see it.

On one particular popular online gun distributor's website, "Reserve item" means you backorder the gun at the current price and establish your place in line. You can cancel after 90days
