Occasionally I come across the quote attributed to Yamamoto with regard to a mainland invasion that the expectation of a deer rifle behind every blade of grass was not worth the cost. True or not, I find this quote comforting.
Usually printed as, "You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass."
What other cool quotes with regard to US firearm ownership do you guys know of?
