I don't have one, but I read all over about them just a few months ago when I was looking at one. I was set to buy it, walked in to the store to buy it, and the darned old clerk (who remembers me by name at this point) whipped out a free floated Troy and sold me on "the free float would be better for coyote hunting". That's what I get for letting the staff get to know me and what I use my guns for... Anyway, the Ruger, by all accounts I read, is an excellent value for the dollar(s), actually even being hard to beat for the price point.
The one "oddity" is the 1/8 twist, which some people will diss, but I have one in my Colt LE6900 and it shoots the smallest little groups with a large variety of bullets, I think I may honestly prefer 1/8 over 1/7. But there's that. The grip will compress under moderate to firm hand squeezing from me, so it may break under duress, and if I remember right the BCG has a weird profile up front, on a non contact place.
