I bought a Timney to have in case I screwed up the polishing of the factory trigger. As it turns out, I didn't have to take the Timney out of the package so I returned it to Midway for full credit. It was a little intimidating to polish it, since I'd never done anything like that before, but I ended up with a nice 3.5# trigger with no creep or overtravel. (Instructions are available online, but I did less contouring than the instructions indicated.) Worst case, how much would Ruger charge to sell me the parts I over-polished - $25?
